Margaret, Louise and Toby

The three most recent additions to the Kemp family. Mike brought Louise and Margaret home on my birthday. And then there's Toby, the lamb that lives in our garage. Yes I said our garage...
The mini donkey's live at my parent's hose right now.
So that brings our total up to 46 animals. 40 sheep, 1 cow, 2 donkeys, 2 dogs and 1 cat.
The funnies part of it all is that we don't even live in the country yet. I can only imagine the things he will bring home when we do.

And the results of Saturday Wedding Madness are....

Aren't they cute?! Yesterday was so fun! So basically what we did was play around with fake flowers just to see which ones I liked the most and then I will tell my florist which ones I want. I'm, of course, in love with the Gerber Daisy and then we choose cherry blossoms for the other one. We're going to alternate tables because I couldn't choose just one! The only problem is that cherry blossoms don't bloom in July. So I'm either going to go with fake, which I don't really want to or if my super smart new sisters or mom-in-law have any idea's, I would love suggestions. Then we put together the first favor. So cute! I just have to decide what goes in it. My votes were either for Jelly Belly's or M&Ms. And your votes are??
Yesterday went so well that I even happened across a cake topper that I loved. K for Kemp because that's what we will be!! YAY!

Pretty in pink

This is what I am hoping my center pieces will look like when I'm done with them.
I think on chocolate brown linens they will look amazing!
And here is a pic of the flowers I want for my bouquet...
I love it!

Beagle Love

I had the weirdest start to my day today.
I woke up to my phone ringing at 7:15am and it was my training officer, Kyle telling me that I needed to call an Officer down at the Police Department. I ask why and he says he doesn't know but that it is urgent. So Mike takes my hand and we are prepared to get awful, terrible news. And when he comes on the line he sounds very serious. At this point my hand is shaking and Mike is barely breathing. And then he tells me that the reason he is calling is because...there is a beagle dog that was impounded 5 days ago and wanted to know if I be able to take it. I was so mad I could have cried and screamed at the same time but I tried to pretend that I was fine because he was just trying to do a good deed.
After I showered and woke up a bit, it became funny because I realized I must be thought of as the beagle rescuer of Junction City. Anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE my dog. She is spoiled and sweet and drives Mike nuts! Thankfully, another woman that understands beagles took her home. Which is probably good because I already picked out a name for her and was trying to figure out how I would break the news to Mike:) I don't think either one of my two babies (Mike or Molly) would have liked another beagle coming home with me!

Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad

31 years of blissful marriage. How do they make it look so easy? My biggest hope is for my marriage to be as fair and loving and wonderful as my parent's is. Love you mom & dad.

Toby

Toby has finally learned to eat all by himself! YAY! He can finally go live on the farm. I love that little face. It's amazing how attached you can get to a creature after bottle feeding it for two weeks. But, tonight he is going to out to the farm where he can be a real sheep and be happy. I'm so glad!
