Success!I had mentioned on a previous post that I had a food drive planned and it has finally come and gone. Last Thursday I convinced the guys on my fire department to get together and collect non-perishables for Local Aide. We had such a great time! I think all together we had around twenty people help us and collected 635 lbs of food. The guys and gals were so supportive and really helped out a lot. It made me so proud to be a part of that group. 
I'm sure Mike is thankful that it is over and done with because I was so stressed that it wouldn't go well and probably wasn't the most pleasant person to be around. But as usual he was extremely helpful and supportive in every way. There was someone that was annoyed that I was gone all night though. That would be that sweet little face to the right.
PS-if you are wondering why we don't have a fitted bed sheet it is because she eats them. Spoiled much?
